Moving With A Datacenter 

Successfully moved houses and relocated my lab/datacenter.


I will record more notes once I have more time, as there is more to unpack.


Notes


    

  1. 

    Shutdown of systems
1. Backup all databases to NAS and remote cloud storage
2. Reduce deployment of all non-system applications to 0
3. Shutdown node VMS one by one in order of control worker > Control Plane > Etcd > All
4. Shutdown Proxmox server once all VMs are offline
5. Docker-compose down Rancher & Gitlab
6. Shutdown main server
7. Tag/note network connections/ports, remove server from rails and place into storage

    Redirect cloud Traefik to cloud instance of applications until DC is setup.
